CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire State Police are investigating an accident in which a police cruiser was hit by a car as the trooper was attempting to pull over another driver.

Police say the accident took place shortly after 11 p.m.

Saturday on Interstate 93 in Concord when a trooper drove out from a crossover in an attempt to pull over a motorist who had been clocked at 91 mph.

Officials say nobody was injured, but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
