Labor Unions Join Occupy Boston Protesters
BOSTON (CBS) - The Occupy Boston movement got some high-profile help in spreading its message on Thursday.
Through the evening, demonstrators and members of some of the city's labor unions marched from Dewey Square, through Downtown Crossing, and back.
"We need to build alliances with people. We may not agree on every issue, but we share the same basic values," said Jen Springer of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO.

Some curious bystanders who wanted to check what Occupy Boston is all about are confused about the movement's central focus.
"It's kind of all over the place. They need someone to step up and say 'this is exactly what we want to see done,'" said one on-looker.
If provoking discussion was the goal of the protesters, then it's safe to say mission accomplished.
But, there is still a sense of confusion surrounding the protests.
"People in here are confused, and the people that walk through are confused," said one man. "I think there's a layer of confusion in both types."
