Car Crashes Into House In Centerville

CENTERVILLE (CBS) – A car crashed almost completely into a home on Pine Street in Centerville Monday afternoon.

Fire crews arrived on scene to find a 2011 Cadillac SUV crashed into the side of a house. The lone operator got himself out, and was transported to Cape Cod Hospital for evaluation.

The vehicle was removed and the home was boarded up. The homeowner was not inside at the time of the crash.

A witness at the scene says the car was in a cemetery and drove over tombstones before crossing the street and hitting the house.

Barnstable police are investigating.
