Lynn Toddler Falls From Three-Story Window

LYNN (CBS) - A toddler is in the hospital after police say he fell from a third story window in Lynn.

The young boy between three and four years old, fell out a screen window on Saturday morning and landed on a car below.

The boy was conscious when he was taken to Salem Hospital. There's no immediate word on his condition, but neighbors say he had serious facial injuries and was in rough shape.

"The baby's face was just bad, I even cried and it's not my child," said neighbor Elizabeth Alvarado. "He was having difficulty breathing but he was breathing."

Elizabeth's son Jeremy Nunez  witnessed the child falling.

"He was hanging from the window, he was holding on the white thing then his hand slipped from the window and he fell," said Nunez.

Family members say the boy's mom was home at the time, but was in the shower.

Police are on scene investigating.
