WEYMOUTH (CBS) – The death of a three-year-old boy in Weymouth appears to be the result of a tragic accident, according to investigators.

The child was found unresponsive after taking a nap at his home on King Avenue.

Police say an adult was home at the time.

The Norfolk District Attorney’s Office says the child was taken to South Shore Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy, but right now the DA’s office is classifying the boy’s death as accidental.

It is pretty sad that we cannot even count on the news anymore for the truth…..this isnt what happened, so please reporters get your story straight before printing such nonsense…….someone just lost their 3 year old child so have just a little compassion if you can find it in your hearts to handle that., my heart & prayers go out to the family!!!!!!!

They were going around asking people questions, one reporter was talking to a CHILD! A child about another dead child! What is wrong with you people! I know exactly what happened to him, I’m one of his neighbors. And it is too tragic. The way it has been covered by the papers has been absolutely ridiculous! They’ve been coming onto the property, sneaking photos, jotting down rumors. Its disgusting! Give the family a little while to grieve, damnit!

What happen to this poor child? My prayers go out to the family. Ive seen the press act like vultures before. For professional people they can act like animals that only care for a story, not the people they are covering.

Leeanne Delaney – what happened? Are you the child’s mother or caregiver? We’re nosy and must know!
