Idaho Police Intercept Drew Bledsoe's $5,000 Stolen Bike

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) - Former NFL quarterback Drew Bledsoe will get his stolen $5,000 mountain bike back after police intercepted the expensive carbon-fiber machine at a home in northern Idaho.

The former New England Patriots star reported the bike stolen after it was removed from his car rack while he was in Coeur d'Alene over Labor Day weekend.

On Tuesday, Coeur d'Alene police said 18-year-old Brandon Edgemon faces charges of grand theft.

Police received a call from a 15-year-old boy describing how Edgemon came his house and asked his sister if she'd watch the bike.

The youngster locked the bike in his garage so Edgemon couldn't get to it, then called police.

Edgemon was easy to find: He was in Kootenai County Jail facing another charge when police came calling.

Bledsoe's bike appears undamaged.
