Boston Fire Crews Respond To Small Boat Fire
BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Fire Department responded to a small boat fire in Dorchester Bay Saturday.
A 58-year-old father and his teenage son were working on the motor of a 15' sailboat when there was an explosion.
A boat from Savin Hill Yacht Club went out to get the two people off the boat, which was about 200 yards off shore tied to a mooring.
Boston EMS transported the father and son to the hospital. The father was treated for burns.
A Boston fireboat knocked down the fire.
