Box Truck Gets Stuck Under Mass. Ave. Bridge
CAMBRIDGE (CBS) - A bad accident shut down traffic to Memorial Drive in Cambridge on Wednesday morning.
A box truck apparently did not see the nine-foot clearance side, and wound up hitting the underside of the Mass. Ave. Bridge on the westbound side at around 9 a.m.
State transportation officials said there is no structural damage to the bridge or roadway.
The roadway was re-opened at around 11 a.m.
Two people were transported to Mass. General Hospital with minor injuries, state police said.
