T & R's Dumbest Athlete Search Round 1: Canseco vs Everett
BOSTON (CBS) - Toucher and Rich's search for the dumbest athlete resumes with a matchup between a few former Major Leaguers, pairing #2 seed Jose Canseco against #3 seed Carl Everett.
Canseco has a long history unusual shenanigans, with the most recent ones coming on twitter. He sent out his personal phone number to Lady Gaga, and the rest of the world, as well as berating an ex-girlfriend for the twitter-verse to see.
Canseco also made headlines recently for having his brother, Ozzie, take his spot in a celebrity boxing match. Jose talked about it with Toucher and Rich back in March, but it did not really end all that well.
Former Red Sox outfielder Carl Everett makes the list for his interesting views. For starters, Everett does not believe in Dinosaurs because no one has ever seen them, claiming fossils found are fakes. He started his career off in Boston very well, but soon fell out of favor with the team and fans after his famous "Head-butt" of home plate umpire Ron Kulpa on Family Day at Fenway.
