Toucher & Rich: Joe Haggerty On Bruins Draft Picks

The NHL Draft was on Friday night and the Bruins used their 9th pick to select defenseman Dougie Hamilton from Niagara and they picked up Alexander Khokhlachev in the second round.

Toucher & Rich spoke with Joe Haggerty about these new players, when they might play in the NHL and did the Bruins have a talk with Brad Marchand?

They discussed the 6-foot-5, 190-pound defenseman Hamilton, when is he projected to play in the NHL?

"He's probably a couple years away. Obviously the filling out thing is something he needs to do and that's why they don't think he'll be ready to play next year," Haggerty said.

They also discussed the center Alexander Khokhlachev, what has Haggerty heard about him? "He's another one that will probably playing junior hockey for at least a couple more years, at least a year anyway. He scored 30 something goal last year. He looks like he could be legit." Haggerty told the morning guys.

They moved on to discuss players that the Bruins might or might not be bringing back like Michael Ryder and Tomas Kaberle. Have the Bruins talked to these players about returning?
