BOSTON (CBS) – There’s a school in Peabody designed to help “at-risk” high school students.

The Peabody Learning Academy offers a unique learning environment for at risk youth.

The school is located at the North Shore Mall, working in partnership with the Simon Youth Foundation. Peabody School Superintendent Doctor Milton Burnett says the goal is to keep at risk kids in school.

Burnett says students at the Learning Academy are treated like any other high school student. He says the Learning Academy is patterned after a similar school outside Philadelphia.
