Study: MGH Ranked Top Hospital In Boston Area
BOSTON (CBS) - The list of the state's best hospitals is out, and again, the biggest names came out on top.
For the first time, US News and World Report is also including community hospitals outside Boston. City hospitals still dominate the list, however.
Mass. General was ranked No. 1, followed by Brigham and Women's, Beth Israel Deaconess and Tufts.
Outside the city, Lahey Clinic was ranked first, and seventh overall.
McLean Hospital in Belmont was ranked ninth overall, followed by South Shore Hospital and Good Samaritan in Brockton.
