Disks From NH Sewage Plant Wash Up On Scituate Beaches

SCITUATE (CBS) - Some of the disks that were accidentally released from a New Hampshire wastewater treatment plant have reached the South Shore.

The disks washed up on Humarock Beach and Egypt Beach in Scituate.

People are being warned to not touch the disks because they could have bacteria on them.

Early in March, a sewage treatment plant in Hooksett accidentally released as many as eight million disks.
