Report: 9-Year-Old AZ Shooting Victim's Organs Donated To Boston Girl

BOSTON (CBS) -- Organs of the nine-year-old girl shot to death last week in Tucson, AZ "went to a little girl in Boston," the girl's father told CNN Friday night.

Christina Green was killed Saturday, January 8 at a meet-and-greet with Rep. Gabrielle Giffords at a supermarket in Tucson.

Her father, John Green, spoke with CNN Friday night about his daughter's organ donation.

"It was very poignant to find out. That's what Christina was all about," John Green told the network. "It's a blessing."

Hundreds of people attended Christina Green's funeral Thursday. Green was born on September 11, 2001.
