SCITUATE (CBS) — On a January Saturday, the coastline provided picture-perfect moments for most of the day.
But by day’s end the sun was losing its battle with the clouds. The ocean was churning up a notch.
In Scituate, it seemed the waves were ready for another coastal lashing.
WBZ-TV’s Jim Smith reports.
Temporary repairs had been made to the seawall, but it was too late for people who had already suffered damage from the last storm.
While Saturday night’s storm is expected to only bring snow, the prospect of another storm with high winds midweek is making some people take notice.
They’re gearing up and gassing up.
Even knowing that the storm is on the way, crews are tackling jobs creating from the last storm.
