Boston School Scores Big With Patriots

BOSTON (CBS) - A success story from a Boston elementary school.

Students at the Henry Grew School in Hyde Park made a commitment to 60 minutes of physical activity each day, then they wrote essays hoping to win an NFL contest.

Win they did and that brought a visit from their favorite team.

On Tuesday, New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft along with Tom Brady, Deion Branch, Patrick Chung, Brandon Meriweather, Zoltan Mesko, Hall of Famer Andre Tippett, joined Mayor Tom Menino to present the school with a $10,000 grant to be used for health and wellness programming or equipment.

During the visit, some of the Patriots players led kids in fitness activities.
