D.J. Henry's Parents Meet With New York D.A.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CBS/AP) - The parents of D.J. Henry have met with the district attorney coordinating the investigation into their son's shooting death.

Danroy and Angella Henry drove to White Plains, N.Y., on Monday to attended a hearing on their request to see some of the evidence investigators have gathered.

Their lawyer, Michael Sussman, said they then met with the district attorney. Neither he nor the district attorney's office would elaborate.

Danroy Henry carried a Bible into court.

Angella Henry wore large buttons bearing photos of her 20-year-old son.

Henry, a Pace University football player, was killed Oct. 17 near the scene of a bar disturbance in Thornwood, N.Y.

Police said he sped away in his car and hit two officers, but some witnesses dispute that account.
