[photogallerylink id=46048 align=right]The Bruins lost their second game in as many nights to the Washington Capitals last night at the TD Garden.  The 4-1 loss puts the Bruins at 1-3-1 for the preseason.

Tim Thomas was in net for the Bruins and allowed all 4 Washington goals on 15 shots.  Mark Recchi scored the lone Boston goal at 8:45 of the third period.  Tyler Seguin was held pointless as he played his first game at center.

The Bruins left for Belfast immediately after the game and skated there this morning.  They'll face the Giant Selects on Saturday, and open their regular season in Prague against the Phoenix Coyotes on October 9.
