Apartment high-rise evacuated in Roxbury
An evacuation at a twenty-story housing complex in Roxbury.
It happened at 1990 Columbus Avenue at the Walnut Park apartments.
Firefighters were called in when carbon monoxide detectors went off on the upper floors.
Residents were assisted out of the building and crews vented the apartments as they looked to find the source of the problem.
The housing complex is run by the Boston Housing Authority for elderly and disabled persons.
