After missing over a month with an abdominal tear, Red Sox outfielder Mike Cameron will be activated off of the disabled list today. His last Major league game was April 18th, and had 9 hits in 8 minor league rehab games for both Triple A Pawtucket and Double A Portland.

To make room for Cameron on the major league roster, the Red Sox have designated outfielder Darnell McDonald for assignment. McDonald hit .261 with 3 homers in his 31 game call up from Pawtucket.
