Wakefield, Red Sox Beat Phillies
Tim Wakefield (1-2) threw 8 shutout innings in the Red Sox 8-3 win over the Phillies on Sunday afternoon. Boston takes two out of three in the series. Kevin Youkilis was 2-4 with a double, HR (9), and 3 runs scored. Ramon Ramirez gave up 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th.
Roy Halladay (6-3) started for Philadelphia and left the game after 5.2 IP, 7 R, 6 ER, 8 H, 2 BB, 1 K.
The Sox continue their road trip Monday night against the Tampa Bay Rays. Clay Buchholz will get the start for Boston opposite Wade Davis.
*Injury Note: Mike Cameron made a rehab start for AA Portland on Sunday. He went 3-5, 2B, and a walk off HR in the 10th inning.
