For the third MMA event in a row, one bad egg has to ruin the whole dozen.

On a night where Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua defeated Lyoto Machida in one of the most hyped rematches of all-time, some of the spotlight was stolen by British welterweight Paul Daley, who sucker punched Josh Koscheck shortly after being dominated for 3 rounds. In his post-fight press conference, Dana White stated that Paul Daley is done permanently in the UFC for his actions, and the fighter was promptly cut.

All props here go out to the guys at MMA-Core.com, as they screen-capped this.

If there is one guy that you could almost condone getting suckered, it’s Kos. Mugatu is really one of the most unlikable guys in MMA. I thought it was equally embarrassing that this was the second fight in a row that Kos has faked getting struck by an illegal knee. Even though Daley’s actions were deplorable, anyone can lose their cool once. Kos has displayed a pattern of willfully deceitful actions that should only be seen on Monday nights.

Any word on whether or not Mr. Fuji will be one of Kos’ coaches on TUF?
