Sox Ink Minor League Catcher
The Boston Red Sox have signed 27-year old catcher Gustavo Molina to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training MLB.com reports.
Molina has played 18 career MLB games, last with the New York Mets in 2008. Molina has no relation to MLB catchers Bengie and Yadier Molina.
