Where To Watch Boston Teams On The Big Screen

By Jaime Ganson

Boston isn't called "Titletown" for nothing! In the last decade, all four major teams have won national championships: Patriots ('01, '03, '04), Red Sox ('04, '07), Celtics ('08), Bruins ('11). The restaurant and bar industry has responded by giving Boston's fans the best in sports bars with lots of TVs and big ones, to boot! Here is a guide to seeing your favorite teams & players all year round "on the big screen."

Jerry Remy's Seaport

Boston, MA 02210

Reviews & Website

Jerry Remy's Sports Bar & Grill's second location (the first is just outside Fenway Park) is located in the newly revamped Seaport district. The infamous Red Sox announcer's namesake bar is home to New England's largest TV, the "monster" videowall that is 32 feet of HD beauty. The videowall ensures that you will see all the action, and if not, there are 46 other flatscreens around the restaurant for your viewing pleasure.

Reviews & Website

The new go-to spot for game day in Southie, Stats just celebrated their one-year anniversary in July. The bar is small, but don't let that fool you, as it's chock full flat screens around the bar and really, everywhere you look. Come for the good TVs; stay for the fun, young atmosphere and the deliciously popular buffalo chicken tenders.

Cask 'n Flagon is located a baseball toss from Fenway Park on the corner of Brookline Ave and Lansdowne St. If the location wasn't enough for you, the quintessential sports bar of Boston has been named Top Baseball Bar in the Nation by ESPN for several years. Step inside for a 360 view of TVs.

Game On!

82 Lansdowne Street
Boston, MA 02215
(617) 351-7001
Hours: Daily 11:30am-close
Reviews & Website

Next door to Cask 'n Flagon, Game On! holds a close second place for the best sports bar in the Fenway area. The upstairs is your regular sports bar with TVs abound. The downstairs has a more lounge-like atmosphere, but maintains the sports bar feel with many TVs above the bar.

Brighton Beer Garden

386 Market Street
Brighton, MA 02135
(617) 562-6000
Reviews & Website

One of many "beer gardens" throughout Boston, Brighton's has the most TVs to make sure you catch any sports game on TV. The TVs typically show various programming, so you can catch any games running simultaneously. The bar also has a cool wall mural highlighting Boston's best teams and most memorable players.
