Well known for its beaches, it's a popular vacation spot, especially for pet lovers. Rated as the best island in the world by National Geographic, Nantucket is the ideal island getaway for you and your pooch.

Rest assured that while you are on the island, a veterinary clinic is only moments away. A mobile unit makes house calls while the office is equipped with a lab for emergency blood work. Pick up flea and tick preventative, or shampoo to keep your furry fella comfortable. Purchase an odor eliminator candle to keep you or your nose more comfortable for that wet dog smell after you and your pup hit the waves.
