THE DEFENSE

Q: How old are you and where do you live?

A: Twenty-six. I live in Jamaica Plain.

Q: What's your car's main use?

A: To get to work, or the grocery store, sometimes movies or other stores.

Q: What do you like most about your commute?

A: It's the only time I listen to the radio and get to hear new music.

Q: And what do you like the least?

A: The fact that there's a traffic light every two blocks.

Q: Where did you get your car from?

A: I got mine at West Roxbury Motors.

Q: Was it a good experience?

A: It was a good experience because I knew the dealer, Tom. He made sure everything was running fine, and if not, they'd fix it for me.

Q: What was your previous car?

A: A '92 Oldsmobile, formerly my grandmother's.

Q: So what exactly were you looking for in a car? What made you chose it?

A: I don't want to spend money, buy gas, or deal with repairs. I actually kind of hate cars.

Q: Well then! Let's get to the fun stuff. Where's the craziest place you've driven to?

A: Savannah, Georgia with my college ultimate frisbee team for spring break.

Q: Do you have any rules in your car?

A: No smoking or Dave Matthews, or I might swerve into oncoming traffic.

Q: Fair enough! How many miles do you think are in the life of your car?

A: I don't know, a bunch hopefully?

Q: What do you think your next car will realistically be?

A: A Tesla. But realistically speaking, probably a shopping cart.

Q: What's your absolute dream car?

A: One that flies.

Q: Red cars get pulled over a lot. Have you ever been pulled over?

A: Oh yeah. Even in non-red cars, but I totally deserved it.
