Shepherd Studio is a 3,000-square-foot artists' space with all of the materials needed by silk screeners, printers, etchers, wood block artists and more. More advanced artists can rent space in the studio and keep their printing materials in dedicated storage space there. This is a great opportunity to bring your design aesthetic to life without losing anything in translation by sending it to another printer.

AntiDesigns is a super-trendy artist-based print shop in South Boston. The studio focuses on what they call "art wearables," or unique designs. So while this probably isn't the best place to get uniforms made, it is perfect for someone who needs help fine-tuning a T-shirt design idea or someone wanting to get started producing their own line of silk-screened shirts or hats. Though it is a startup, AntiDesigns is very high-end and does fabulous work.

Emulsion Print House is an amazing silk screen studio with a keen eye for design. They can help you create and critique the design for your custom print job. While they specialize in T-shirts and hats, Emulsion can also make absolutely gorgeous wedding invitations and other paper goods. If your design is ready to go and does not need any further consulting work, then Emulsion is also great because of their very reasonable prices. After digitizing your artwork, a set of twenty or more T-shirts will cost as low as $15.00 each! That is a great deal that is hard to find at other local shops.
