Boston's Best Reubens

For a hearty reuben sandwich, the following Boston spots have their own recipes that stand out on the menu. Whether you like it grilled with tons of dressing, chilled with cole slaw instead of kraut (technically more of a Rachael), with a side of fries or just simply the sandwich, you will love the options at these eateries.

Family-owned and operated since 1968, Sam LaGrassa's sandwiches are piled high with deli meat and cheeses on perfectly toasted breads. There are pastrami sandwiches that don't disappoint and locals love their corned beef, turkey and tuna as well. But the jumbo reuben for $11.95 is quite a treat. This sandwich shop takes corned beef with Russian dressing, swiss cheese and sauerkraut, and heat it all up on toasted pumpernickel bread for hearty lunch to break up the work day.
