What better way to celebrate mom than with a hearty Mother’s Day brunch. Some of Boston’s best restaurants are honoring mom with multi-course meals or buffets that will make for a memorable meal. Located in Brookline is Ribelle, which offers brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Diners will indulge on a mix of sweet and savory recipes. From cinnamon and sugar bomboloni and banana bread pancakes with maple olive oil and cocoa nib butter to Bolognese and baked egg or the potato ravioli, the menu features plenty of options, no matter what mood you are in. Mom will love the interesting combinations of ingredients; especially the truffle egg toast featured on semolina bread with pickled peppers and egg.

Also in Brookline, Fairsted Kitchen will be be serving Mother’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is offering a menu featuring both individual plates as well as shareable dishes in the cozy dining room. Highlights include crepes featuring black truffle, scrambled eggs, béchamel and gaufrettes for $15 or the ham hock, fontina, harissa croquettes for $8. There are also omelets, stuffed French toast, a fish platter and plenty of other dishes, in all sizes, on this innovative menu.

Chef Sisca’s special brunch menu will be served on the second floor in the dining room at Bistro Du Midi for $50 per person to commemorate the holiday. The spring prix fixe brunch will offer diners a choice of beet and goat cheese salad, Caesar salad, tuna tartare, steamed mussels or smoked white asparagus soup as a starter. Then the second-course selections include poached eggs with cured Scottish salmon and American caviar, beet gnocchi, roasted Statler chicken, roasted Hake or grilled flat-iron roasted bone marrow. And for dessert, diners will indulge on vanilla mousseline with goat milk caramel and espresso ice cream, lemon pistachio tart with strawberry sorbet or the rhubarb and berry crumble along with basil ice cream.

Located in Harvard Square, Rialto is a perfect place for a holiday celebration. For Mother’s Day, from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., there will be a special meal for $65 for adults and $25 for children. The three-course meal will feature an antipasti to start, followed by a selection of dishes guests can choose from for their second and third course. The menu is subject to change, but diners will receive only the freshest ingredients with recipes such as potato gnocchi featuring chanterelles, peas, hazelnuts and goat cheese or roasted leg of lamb featuring minted ricotta ravioli, artichoke cream, favas and nuts. Whether mom is a steak and eggs kind of gal or likes to keep it light with roasted fish, Rialto is sure to have something to accommodate her.
