With a name like this, the place has some expectations to live up, and Roast Beast does not disappoint. The place does one thing, and does it well. They are praised for having the best roast beef (or beast as they call it) sandwich that you will ever have. When ordering a sandwich, you pick the meat, size, type of bun, and condiments. All this combines to give you your own perfectly customized sandwich. It all comes at a good price too, with a regular coming at $6, a large at $8, and a mega at $10.

Kelly’s Roast Beef may be the pride of Revere, but ask any resident where the best roast beef is and they’ll point you to Peter’s Super Beef. This little shop has a great roast beef for around $8. Try a roast beef sub or sandwich or go all out with the gigantic “Super Beef.” Parking can be a little spotty so don’t be afraid to call in your order before showing up. It is also a very short walk away from Revere Beach and Revere Beach station on the Blue Line. Be sure to bring cash though, as this family run business doesn’t take credit or debit.

Royal Roast Beef & Seafood is another great option for a roast beef sub or sandwich. This spot on Bennington St. offers a lot of parking as it has its own private lot for customers. But most importantly, it has a solid roast beef sandwich. If your feeling hungry, get the “Super Roast Beef” for only $5.50. One of the best things about this sandwich is that it is served on an Onion Roll, which really adds to the flavor. If that doesn’t sound appealing, grab a “Regular Roast Beef,” which comes on a seeded roll for only $4.50, or a “Junior Roast Beef,” which comes on a regular roll. They also offer a roast beef sub for $6.25.
