It's motto of "Building community in and through our local artists" is focused mainly in the Dedham area. The most recent expansion to the project, "Good Art Series Hits The Road," included Steve Marchena, professional omni-guitarist playing at The Norfolk County Correctional Center with Adam McOwen on fiddle. This year, local artists will perform in assisted living places, in a jail and also within an institution that supports the homeless population. "Good Art Series Hits the Road" brings the Good Arts Series of Dedham to those who cannot come to it by using your tax refund to empower the healing aspects of music within our community, a powerful investment can be made in the future.

The volunteer crew works year-round to provide free instruments, lessons including voice to children ages 8 to 18. Novice to advanced, Rawkstars, Inc tailors its expertise to the interest of the students. Recently enhancing its program with classes in audio technique and video production, Rawkstars is offering group music classes to the local Boys & Girls club in its area, donating iPods to the Children's Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer and Blood Disorders Center in Boston.
