Meet Marianne Silowan, previous owner of the clothing and shoe boutique BabyBoom. A graduate of UMass Boston, Silowan is currently chief marketing officer of shoppersworld.com, a highly diverse and informative shopping site on the internet. She enjoys being on the prowl finding the lead fashions of today and gaining an edge on the most popular trends of tomorrow. When asked what she thinks will be the top trend for fashion this fall, she foresaw an upcoming comeback for 70's Boho Chic delicate embroidery and lace accents, plus a few other son-to-be hot trends.

No Matter What The Trend, Make Sure The Fit Is Right

"Not all styles and trends look good on every figure. Claim your own trend by favoring what looks good on you," Silowan advises. It doesn't matter what style you choose, its how you accessorize that makes the outfit trendy and fashionable. Shoes and stacked heels of all sizes, from kitten to towering platform — do they fit right? If wearing high heels has been a thing of the past, look forward to a a season of stacked heels, a comfortable fit for the fall.

Stand Out From The Crowd Because You Look And Feel Fantastic

"You want to stand out from the crowd because you look fantastic, not because your clothes are all wrong for your body type," Silowan says. Delicate embroidery and lace accents are simple touches that make a woman feel beautiful, chic and ultra-feminine. Buy a few swaths, gentle swaying fabrics that compliment your figure and give you the allure that can be worn anywhere.

Color Palettes Fall In And Out Of Fashion

"Make sure the colors you choose complement your skin tone, eye and hair color instead of adhering to trends," Silowan says. Women everywhere know the colors that bring out the glow of their skin or highlight the coloring of their hair — stick with it! Make a day of bargain hunting for only the clothing that fits your coloring, and accessories that bring out the jazz in your favorite hair style. Think vintage this season and be marvelous!

Delicate Feminine High Impact Jewelry

"Jewelry has started to become less minimal and more intricate, almost vintage in style. Buy a few impact pieces you can wear everywhere: work, school or out for a night on the town. Silowan likes Cristina Sabatini, whose creations she sees as a new take on the geometric patterns of the past, thoroughly modern for today's tastes. She also recommends art deco jewelry of the 1920s through 1935 eras with an influence can be seen right up to today. This style of design harnesses geometric design patterns and dynamic color choices.  Contrasts between rock crystal or diamonds and black onyx, vibrant rubies, deep green emeralds or dark sapphires make up the truly iconic creations created by Cartier, Tiffany and Van Clef & Arpels.

Jeans Are On The Must Have List

"It doesn't matter what style of denim you choose, high waist or low waist, legging, skinny, BF, GF, colored or distressed. Jeans are always on the must-have list. It's what you pair with them that makes the outfit trendy and fashionable," Silowan advises. Go ahead, wear anything denim paired with great shoes and stylish jewelry and you will be right on the trend this fall.
