Once known as the Charles Street Jail, the Liberty Hotel emerged in Boston’s nightlife scene in 2007. The Liberty contains three hotel bars, Alibi, Liberty Bar, and The Yard. Alibi contains mug shots of famous celebrities along with exposed brick and remnants of old jail cells. The Liberty Bar, located in the main lobby of the hotel, offers areas for lounging and mingling all within view of the hotel’s gorgeous main rotunda. Last but not least, The Yard offers an outdoor drinking space perfect for the summer months.
