Good morning everyone and happy Friday! There’s a noticeable change in the air today…after yesterday’s mild rain, cooler air has been filtering into the region and you’ll feel the difference out there. Highs will only […]
It’s the last day of August, and meteorologically-speaking, it’s the last day of Summer.
It is going to feel a lot more like summer around here this weekend. Friday will also be the most uncomfortable day of the stretch with humidity levels at their highest.
It certainly is a busy weekend – graduations, ballgames, cookouts… whatever you have planned no doubt you have been monitoring forecasts for the last several days.
Quiet, quiet, all is quiet… That’s the forecast as we head into Super Bowl weekend and into the middle part of next week.
Saturday night, Sunday and early Monday will be our coldest stretch so far this season and likely the coldest since last January.
High pressure has settled in which will provide more sunshine on this Friday. However, an eroding cold front will produce patches of clouds later today as well as a slim chance of a sprinkle/flurry, especially north and west.
The midday models are in for Saturday’s storm. Temperatures looking just a bit too warm for much snow with this one.
