Tractor-Trailer Fire In O’Neill Tunnel Snarls Downtown Traffic

All lanes of Interstate 93 south in the O’Neill Tunnel were shut down briefly late Monday morning because of a tractor-trailer fire.

A truck fire forced State Police to shut down part of Route 3 Thursday afternoon in Kingston.

Part Of Mass Pike In Newton Closed For Hours For Truck Fire, Fuel Spill

The westbound side of the Route 16 interchange in Newton was closed at 10:45 a.m. when the truck fire started. About 100 gallons of diesel fuel spilled when the truck’s gas tanks ruptured during the fire.
