Thomas Shines, Bruins Take Game 5 Against Lightning

Tim Thomas stopped 33 shots after allowing another early goal, and Brad Marchand scored the game-winner to lead Boston to a 3-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday night and put the Bruins one win away from the Stanley Cup finals.

Bruins Shock Lightning With Late Goal, Win 2-1

Milan Lucic broke a 1-all tie on a goal with 3:42 left and the Boston Bruins won their seventh straight and moved alone into second place in the Eastern Conference with a 2-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night.
