St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Organizers of the South Boston St. Patrick’s Day parade have revoked their invitation to a gay rights advocacy group to march with them on March 16.
A small Catholic school in Harvard, Massachusetts has pulled out of the South Boston Saint Patrick’s Day Parade because a gay rights advocacy group will be marching this month.
A MassEquality official said Saturday a group of gay military veterans can march under its banner as part of a deal brokered by Boston Mayor Martin Walsh. But marchers from the gay-rights group would not be allowed to wear clothing or hold signs that refer to sexual orientation.
