Kenyan Sharon Cherop Wins Boston Marathon’s Women’s Elite Race

It took all of 26.2 miles for 28-year-old Kenyan Sharon Cherop to edge out 27-year-old Kenyan Jemima Jelagat Sumgong and win a very close race in the women’s elite division of the 2012 Boston Marathon.
