Mary Lee, the 3,456-pound female great white shark whose movements are tracked online, surfaced off the New Jersey shore Friday.
Scientists tracking a couple of Great White Sharks that spent part of the summer off Cape Cod say the sharks have turned up off the coast of Florida.
The scientists with OCEARCH thought the first shark they caught was big, until then they hooked number 2; a 16-foot, 3500-lb. female Great White.
Researchers on Cape Cod are celebrating a “monumental leap forward in the science of the great white shark.”
