L Street Brownies
Hundreds of swimmers ran into the frigid Dorchester Bay waters Thursday morning for the 112th Annual Polar Bear Plunge.
At 9:29 a.m. a couple of hundred people in bathing suits stood on the beach outside the L Street bath house in South Boston – on January 1, with the temperature in the low 20’s.
The L Street Brownies took their annual frigid dip into Dorchester Bay Tuesday morning.
About 1,000 people took advantage of the warmer weather Saturday and went swimming outside.
If you’re thinking about trying something new for the New Year, how about the Polar Bear Plunge?
