It’s that time of the year again, when 98.5 The Sports Hub supremacy can be determined in only one way: a rap battle. The Finals are finally here, with Tony Mazz one of the last ones standing once again, but this time around he’s up against Wallach.
Newcomer to the 98 Mile rap battle contest Gary Tanguay beat Andy Gresh to move on to the semi finals and is going up against Jon Wallach who destroyed Scott Zolak in round 1.

Toucher & Rich were back today after attending The 2nd Annual Sports Hub Who’s Your Caddy? Classic on Tuesday. At the auction after the event a signed Josh Beckett jersey was booed by the crowd which led the guys to wonder what other Boston players would get the same reaction.
Toucher were joined in studio by 80’s hair metal tribute band Wildside. The band was playing the guys in and out of breaks for most of the morning and did a great job. Lead singer Ron does some Metal Hub Headlines and Wallach sings with the band.
John Henry, Larry Lucchino and Tom Werner sat down and answered questions over the weekend and the guys played a game where they had to guess how many seconds it would take before Lucchino would jump in and interrupt Henry.
There are certain announcers that you can’t help but love, whether it’s their great voice or original catch phrases. Every day this week T&R are going to take a look at guys that sit up in the booth calling games that we love.
Wallach was involved in band during high school and played the clarinet. Zolak brought in his daughter’s clarinet so Wallach could show off his skills.
Someone sent Toucher & Rich Jon Wallach’s high school yearbook photo and some info on him that he put in there as well. Take a listen as the guys have some fun at Wallach’s expense.
