N.H. Man Drowns While Attempting To Cross Lake in Salem

A man from Windham, New Hampshire apparently drowned after attempting to swim across Shadow Lake. Police responded to a report of an intoxicated man in the water on Friday night. Officers borrowed a neighbor’s boat and found the man floating face down about 75 yards off shore. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
