Computer Glitch Temporarily Grounds Southwest Airlines’ Entire Fleet

A system-wide computer failure forced Southwest Airlines to ground its entire fleet of airplanes preparing for departures late Friday, and at least 57 flights had to be canceled.

Japanese Probe Points To Common Cause In Boeing 787 Dreamliner Fires

The burned insides of a battery in the Boeing 787 at the center of a worldwide grounding of the aircraft indicate it operated at a voltage above its design limit, a Japanese investigator said Friday.
