A cold dome of air over us this morning will be slow to loose it’s grip on New England. A Busy breeze out of the SW will provide just enough motion to the air to make for a chilly day with highs in the Lwr 50’s with plenty of sunshine. High clouds will be pushing through during the midday for partly sunny skies at times.
High pressure SW of New England is firmly in control today wrapping in warming light WNW winds which will warm the eastern facing beaches today. Temps in the valleys this AM are in the 40’s, with temps in the 60’s in the hills. Sunshine with highs in the Lwr-mid 80’s by this afternoon.
There will likely be a significant, heavy and wet snow in parts of northern Worcester County, all of western Massachusetts and in southern New Hampshire.
The storm is playing out as forecast, we still expect this to be a very quick moving storm, done and out of here by midday.
