Salem Man Gets 5 Years Following Bust In RI Drug Sting

A Massachusetts man convicted in Rhode Island of drug trafficking has been sentenced to five years in federal prison. Julio Ernesto Soto, of Salem, Mass., was arrested in a November 2010 Drug Enforcement Administration sting. An informant working with the DEA arranged to buy $24,000 worth of cocaine from the 30-year-old Soto.
