Skies will be cloudy this morning followed by peeks of sun this afternoon. Highs will be around 40.
What looked like such a slam dunk forecast a few days ago has become an absolute head scratcher. Honestly, this storm could end up being a bust.
It’s a definite that today will be a pleasant winter day with sunshine, lighter winds, and highs flirting with 40F.
This storm will be very different from the last two, mainly because it will be a warmer storm.
All is quiet yet very cold in the weather department today. Partly sunny skies will prevail with blustery conditions that will make it feel even colder than the actual reading on your thermometer.
This pattern looks as though it will continue for at least one more week as we are eyeing what might be yet another plowable snowfall this weekend.
Sunday’s storm brought wind and snow to much of the state. Southeastern Mass. was hardest hit with wind and snow accumulation expected to reach six inches.
The models are hinting at a few snow showers on Saturday, but now the time period that we are focusing on will be Saturday night into Sunday morning.
With the cleanup still ongoing from the Blizzard of 2013, the last thing anyone wants to hear is that dirty little four letter word coming out of the meteorologists this week (S-N-O-W).
The track of a storm from Wednesday night through Thursday morning is still questionable.
