1986 world series
The Red Sox Hall of Fame Class welcomed seven new members on Friday, as the class of 2012 was formally inducted at Fenway Park.
The baseball that rolled through the legs of Boston Red Sox first baseman Bill Buckner in the 1986 World Series has been sold at auction for $418,250.
It’s one of those “Do you remember where you were?” moments for any Red Sox fan.
The Bill Buckner ball is up for auction on Ebay. The initial bid is $1 million.
