Bobby V had plenty of giblets in his one season as Red Sox manager in 2012, but saying the team would have led the team to the World Series with him as manager in 2013 is too much turkey -- even for us. (Photo by Koji Watanabe/Getty Images)

Fielder was just 4-for-22 at the plate in the ALCS against the Red Sox, and had a rather large baserunning gaffe in Game 6. After the Tigers took a 2-1 lead on a Victor Martinez 2-run single, Fielder was doubled-up the next batter when he got caught in no-man's land between third and home. His belly-flop back to third pretty much summed up his postseason, and Fielder was traded to the Texas Rangers in the off-season. (Photo by Al Bello/Getty Images)

Doc was supposed to be part of the Celtics' rebuilding process after he signed a five-year extension in 2011, but worked his way out of town when Chris Paul and the LA Clippers came calling. At least Boston will get a first-round pick out of the deal, and Brad Stevens is looking pretty good for the future. (Photo by Andrew D. Bernstein/NBAE via Getty Images)

It looked like the Maple Leafs were about to pull an impressive 3-1 series comeback with a blowout win in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, but the Bruins stormed back from a 4-1 deficit in the third period. Boston scored twice in the final 90 seconds of regulation to force overtime, and Patrice Bergeron sent the Leafs home with his game-winner six minutes into the extra frame. It was bad enough when Price gave up seven runs to the Red Sox in seven innings of work in Game 2 of the ALDS, but it got worse when he couldn't take criticism on Twitter following the loss. He started Tweeting out a list of his accomplishments and stats, choosing to ignore what happened just a few hours earlier. (Photo by Jared Wickerham/Getty Images)

King is a turkey, but one the Celtics will gladly feast on. Not only did he give them three first round picks for Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Jason Terry in a draft night swap, but he went and hired a rookie head coach in Jason Kidd to lead a group of All Stars and future Hall of Famers. The result? Three wins in the first five weeks of the season. (Photo by Nathaniel S. Butler/NBAE via Getty Images)

We can debate all we want if the various calls are right or wrong, but officials are playing way too big of a role when it comes to deciding games these days. This is one rafter of turkeys we'd all like to hear from less. (Photos by Jamie Squire and Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)

Ridley has lost four fumbles this season, including three in the last three games. Two of his fumbles have been returned for touchdowns, and there is a good chance he watches the rest of the season (at least the important parts) on the bench. (Photo by Jared Wickerham/Getty Images)

Not only did Crosby and his Penguins get swept out of the Eastern Conference Finals by the Bruins, but he complained (through his agent) about Zdeno Chara being too rough with him on multiple occasions over the off-season. Someone give Crosby some more stuffing so those hits from Big Z don't hurt as much. (Photo by Bruce Bennett/Getty Images)

Scott has one job on the Sabres, and it's to be a (insert inappropriate adjective here) when on the ice. He was whatever word you chose when he threw a high elbow at Boston forward Loui Eriksson in late October. The good news is Eriksson is back and healthy for the B's.
