Don Huff is a News Anchor for WBZ NewsRadio 1030 and can be heard reporting various stories during the day as well as anchoring. Huff joined the staff of WBZ in 1994. He has anchored every day part on WBZ during his 20 plus years here.
Don has had a long career in Boston radio news. Prior to his work at WBZ, Huff worked as an anchor/ reporter at WHDH radio in Boston where he joined the staff in 1987. In 1976, he began a ten-year stint at WGAN Radio in Portland, Maine, where he started as Afternoon Drive Anchor and a couple of years later became News Director and Morning Drive Anchor. The next year, he left Portland for Boston.
Among the highlights of Don’s career was covering the 1992 Republican National Convention in Houston, and the Democratic National Convention in New York City. Huff is a 1967 graduate of Holy Cross College with a degree in Political Science and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
