Bobby Sisk

Bobby SiskBobby Sisk is the Weekend Evening Anchor and a weekday General Assignment Reporter for WBZ-TV News.

Prior to joining WBZ-TV, Sisk worked for 11 years at the NBC affiliate in Charlotte, North Carolina. Most recently, he anchored the station’s 5:30PM news and served as contributing anchor to NewsChannel 36 at 4PM. During his time in Charlotte, he also worked as a General Assignment Reporter and Morning Anchor. In addition, Sisk was a Business Columnist for the Charlotte Observer, writing a popular and insightful weekly column on job hunting and career strategies.

Sisk began his journalism career after graduating from Arkansas State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio and Television Broadcast News. Sisk has worked at stations in Arkansas, Indiana, and Oklahoma and is excited to now call New England home.

Sisk’s extensive news experience includes: live shots, breaking news, line producing, and news management. Over the course of his career, he has received numerous awards from the Associated Press and RTNDA, and has been nominated for two Emmy Awards.
